1. English Biscuits Manufacturers (EBM) has launched a Peek Freans Young Piper’s Club consumer promotion campaign in the form of a Lucky-Draw Competition for the happiness & joy of their customers.
2. This competition is open to all consumers of Peek Freans Gluco, Peek Freans Rio, Peek Freans Chocolicious and Peek Freans Choco Bites across Pakistan only.
3. It is not mandatory to participate in this event. This is a completely subjective & optional choice for all consumers.
4. By participating in this Peek Freans Young Piper’s Club Lucky – Draw competition the consumer agrees to accept all the Terms & Conditions mentioned herein
5. This is a limited time competition only. The length & duration of this competition is entirely up to the company and can be closed, recalled and revised any time by EBM
6. To take part in this competition, each participant must follow the steps which will be advertised/published in the print, tv and digital and mobile media for consumer’s convenience.
7. To enter the Peek Freans Young Piper’s Lucky Draw Competition, participants must send the code found inside the Peek Freans product packs. The code must be accurate, valid, and not duplicated. Upon receiving and verifying the correct code, a confirmation message will be sent via WhatsApp.
To complete their entry and qualify for the Lucky Draw, participants must then provide their correct and valid Name, Address, CNIC, City, and Phone Number. Only after submitting these details will the participant's entry be officially recorded in the Lucky Draw Competition.
8. The products and packs of Peek Freans which will have a unique code on the inside are:
9. To increase the chances of winning, participants are encouraged to buy as many packs as they can and to share the unique code written inside the product pack. Each code printed inside the pack is unique. Some packs have “Try Again” printed inside them. One phone number can be used to send in multiple unique code entries as long as each code is unique, different, & valid. Any duplicated code will not be accepted as a valid entry.
10. Winners will be selected on the basis of the valid unique code, written inside the pack, sent to the designated WhatsApp number. An invalid or duplicated code will not be valid for entry in the competition.
11. The participants must have a registered WhatsApp account to participate in this Competition.
12. Automated Entry: Using an automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic technology that allows a person to bombard the system with multiple entries is not allowed. Third party-entries & automated entries will be disqualified.
13. This is a limited time consumer promotion and the codes received through WhatsApp on the mentioned number will be acceptable for lucky draw during the campaign period only. This campaign period is on the discretion of EBM.
14. The color, style, size, model and branding of the prizes will be the decision of the Company unless stated otherwise. Any pictures depicting the prizes on any media or promotional material are for depiction purposes only and in certain instances the actual prizes may differ. The promotion does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of the products or services being offered as prizes.
15. English Biscuits Manufacturers (EBM) shall not be liable for any failure of a Winner to avail the Prize due to them providing incorrect personal information/address or any other incorrect details that were required.
16. By participating in the Competition, the participants willingly consent to receiving messages from Peek Freans Young Piper’s Club WhatsApp number about any promotional offers, campaigns, product launches, surveys, consumer studies, product appraisals etc
17. EBM has the sole discretion in all matters of the Competition. Its decision shall be final and cannot be challenged before any authority, regulatory, legal or otherwise, whatsoever
18. EBM is fully entitled to add, change, or remove any of the above stated terms at any time without any prior announcement/advertisement.
19. EBM holds every right to withdraw, alter, amend or otherwise modify/recall/cancel this campaign, or any associated activity, any time without any prior announcement/advertisement. In the event of termination, all participants indemnify EBM against any actual, misconceived or perceived loss of opportunity, damages etc.
20. EBM may, as they will, extend, reduce and /or modify the duration of this competition.
21. Employees of Coronet Foods (Private) Limited and English Biscuits Manufacturers (Private) Limited, its partners, and their respective subsidiaries and suppliers, distributors, agency’s etc. including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are not eligible to join this lucky draw competition.
22. By participating in the competition, the winning participants agree that the company may use photographs, videos and audio recording taken at the time of prize distribution, communication happened/exchanged during contact by the company for intimation of prize winning and other information including names, surnames etc., in company’s advertisements/publicity campaigns and in other print, tv and digital marketing without any further/prior/specific consent for such purpose. The consumer’s consent to the incorporation of any contents/information in the advertisements/campaigns shall not entitle the winners for any remuneration/amount in any manner whatsoever. If a winning participant later becomes disqualified under these terms and conditions to receive the prize, then any release of advertisement about his/her winning shall not create any obligation/responsibility on the company in favour of such participant either related to the prize or to any social, financial or other exposure in this regard”.
23. EBM shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising out of the Competition or due to participation by any person in the Lucky Draw
24. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held by any court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable in whole or part, the other provisions of these Terms & Conditions and the remainder of the affected provisions shall continue to be valid.
25. Maintenance of the prizes received is the sole responsibility of the winners.
26. There are multiple prizes that are worth different prices and the distribution of these prizes among winners is the sole decision of EBM based upon valid code entries via WhatsApp.
27. The prizes mentioned hereinabove and their distribution shall be as follows: 1) Three (03) Samsung Tablets every day for the duration of the campaign and; 2) some winners shall be allocated gaming currency.
28. A person can only receive a prize once
29. There shall be no monetary compensation in lieu of the prizes.
30. Once the prize is received, each winner must sign a receiving confirmation
31. Entry is only valid through the identified process of sending a unique code through a WhatsApp message. No other mode of communication will be considered.
32. EBM and Convex Interactive shall not be responsible, in case of the inability of the consumer to send a WhatsApp message to the said numbers due to any reasons such as network congestion, participant being out of coverage area, network unavailable, third-party dependency, etc.
33. It is also provided herein that EBM and Samsung are not affiliated, in any way, whatsoever, for the purposes of this Competition nor is there any collaboration between EBM and Samsung for this Competition.
34. It is further provided that all Trademarks, Copyrights and other associated Intellectual Property Rights related to the Brands “Peek Freans Young Piper’s Club” “Peek Freans GLUCO”, “Peek Freans RIO”, “Peek Freans CHOCOLICIOUS” and “Peek Freans CHOCO BITES” vests in EBM
