Deputy Managing Director
Having worked with AF Ferguson & Co. for four years and overseeing EBM operations and processes for 14 years now, Saadia Naveed brings with her a vast experience of 18 years as an accountant and operations professional. The team truly comes into its own under Saadia’s empathetic guidance, who continues to work closely with department heads to further improve organizational systems, processes and policies.
Abdul Ghaffar Katiya
Research & Development
Abdul Ghaffar Katiya is well-versed in Food Science and specializes in biscuits, cookies, wafers and chocolate. He has over four decades of experience in product development, QASD, production and technology. Abdul Ghaffar has previously headed the quality control function at various pharmaceutical companies. He currently leads the Research & Development at EBM and CFL.
Sales, Trade Marketing & Exports
Zahid Iqbal leads a strong sales and distribution team at EBM, concentrating on developing and strategizing business and sales in local and international markets while ensuring that EBM stays in the lead. He has 17 years of marketing, sales, trade marketing, consumer insight and media management experience in the FMCG industry, and has handled a variety of categories, including personal care, edible oil, dairy, snacks, canned fruits, and juices.
Integrated Supply Chain
With a career spanning three decades, Mohammedi Miabhoy has extensive experience in the FMCG industry. Mohammedi’s career has also touched upon operations, sales, and marketing. He retired as the COO of an eminent FMCG company, and currently manages the Supply Chain division at EBM.
Bareera Hamidi specializes in organization design, change management, process re-engineering and job evaluation. With 16 years of experience in various industries, she has core training as ISO auditor for human resource, supply chain and commercial, and in-depth knowledge of methodologies used by Hay's and Mercer. Her skills are complemented by her experience in initiating and facilitating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation in Oracle, SAP and JD Edwards environments. Bareera currently heads the HR function at EBM.
Abdul Wahid has been part of the EBM team since 1977, serving at various positions in the Finance Department. He has been heading the Finance Department since 2008 and is an active part of the senior management team.
Production & Engineering
Integrating production, utilities, projects and engineering into one team is one of Haider Raza’s biggest achievements, though his 17-year-long career boasts diverse experience. He has worked with various FMCG companies in the past, and implemented world class systems such as TPM and BOB (Best of the Best). Haider currently leads a highly professional and dedicated manufacturing team at EBM as the Head of Production, Engineering, Project and Utility.
With over 17 years of work experience at various multinational companies including international assignments, Adnan Warsi leads EBM’s enthusiastic Quality Assurance team. In the past, Adnan has managed the Research and Development and Quality Assurance departments as well as manufacturing operations at eight different food factories in six countries. He is proficient at developing and implementing the HACCP and TPM quality systems on the shop floor.
Asher Zahid leads the Information Technology team with a focus on increasing efficiency of the information architecture. He has 20 years of experience across various industries - technology, insurance, telecommunications, chemical and FMCG - in local and international companies.
Col. Usman Bhatti
Col. Usman has over 35 years of experience working with the Pakistan Army and in the private sector. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Logistics Transport UK and Steering Committee of UNGC. Col. Usman has been part of the EBM team since 2013, and has a keen commitment to facilitating operations and providing the best administrative services.
Muhammad Shahid is the Head of Operations at the EBM Hattar Factory (CFL). With 13 years of experience, including a leading position at the oral care department of a multinational company, Shahid has been part of EBM for the last nine years, leading various aspects of the Supply Chain Department. With qualifications in Engineering and Management, he is chalking a new map to growth at the CFL manufacturing unit.
